There are times when we are a little tender, insecure, moments when we let the inner demons come at us.
Sometimes this is exacerbated by other people, people we have made assumptions about, perhaps they have judgement’s about us too.
At a tricky stage a few years ago I was going to a function where I would be faced with some of these issues and wasn’t looking forward to the event.
Our preconceived perceptions close off the opportunity and joy that is there waiting for us.
I phoned my friend Lisa and waited as usual for her enriching wise counsel, her words have permeated my psyche ever since, she said,
“Girlie, YOU CAN HOLD YOUR HEAD UP ANYWHERE.”
These words are a gift for us all. Hold your head up move and act from your evolved self, stand tall, proud of your core, who you really are, nobody can touch that. Engaging life from a standpoint where your eyes are level is so much easier when they are cast down to the floor.
