Acrylic on canvas, 1m x 180cm. The woman sitting at the edge of the pool in her evening dress allowing it to fall into the water with her red shoes on. She’s liberated the Goldfish which symbolises her “‘So What”, all the things she wanted to change about her life, the things that niggle her, that symbolise the grey noise that filtering her thoughts and stopping her from moving forward. She says So What and let’s the goldfish go, knowing that she is comfortable in her skin, and all the things she thinks she needs to be perfect aren’t needed anymore, it’s part of her. She accepts it and moves on.
