All About Me; Is a take on the extreme self obsession that has been generated by the phone/photography culture. Our collective obsession with how we are perceived is being articulated in this picture. We don’t talk of feelings, we are not aware of the other, other than them being a member of our audience. She takes up the whole canvas (on a phone it would be a screen) there is no place for someone else or more information other than her carefully curated image of herself, she is aloof, generating a feeling of exclusivity. We want to be loved and yet we are so alone.
